Erasmus politikas deklarācija

RARZI piedalās Erasmus + programmā no 2012. gada. Institūts ir ieguvis Erasmus + Universitātes Hartu nākamajam programmas realizēšanas periodam laikā no 2021. Līdz 2027. gadam.

RARZI internacionalizācijas stratēģija paredz sadarbības stiprināšanu ar līdzīgiem institūtiem Eiropā. Tādēļ RARZI ir ieinteresēts studentu, docētāju un darbinieku mobilitātes veicināšanā. Iepriekšējos gados ir notikusī veiksmīgā sadarbība ir ļāvusi gūt Jaunu sadarbības pieredzi profesoriem, studentiem un darbiniekiem. RARZI plāno paplašināt un padziļināt šo pieredzi turpmākajā periodā.

RARZI ir relatīvi neliela augstskola, tādēļ mēs orientējamies uz sadarbības kvalitāti un attīstām sadarbību galvenokārt ar mūsu reģiona un Baltijas valstu universitātēm, pēc tam paplašinot to Eiropas līmenī. Šī sadarbība attīstās pateicoties kontaktiem, ko izveidojuši mūsu profesori, kas doktorantūras līmenī ir studējuši Francijā, Itālijā, Beļģijā, Polijā, Slovākijā un Vācijā.

Starptautiskā sadarbība ir cieši saistīta ar RARZI virzību uz jaunu tehnoloģiju un metožu apgūšanu un izmantošanu studiju procesā, kas tālāk ļaus tās pielietot komunikācijā ar Erasmus programmas partneriem.

RARZI piedalīšanās Erasmus mobilitātes programmās ļauj mūsu studentiem, profesoriem un darbiniekiem iegūt pozitīvu pieredzi, pavadot noteiktu laika periodu katoļu universitātēs Eiropā. Tas ļauj attīstīt prasmi darboties nepazīstamā vidē, piedalīties pieredzes apmaiņā ar dažādu tautu un kultūru pārstāvjiem. RARZI labprāt uzņem iebraucošos studentus visās studentu mobilitātes. Mēs esam ieinteresēti citu valstu docētāju un darbinieku vizītēs, jo tās dod lielu ieguldījumu studiju procesa kvalitātes uzlabošanā.

RARZI līdzdalība Erasmus programmā ir saistīta ar augstskolas modernizācijas un internacionalizācijas mērķu sasniegšanu. Mēs ceram palielināt mobilitātes dalībnieku skaitu visos tās veidos, lai sasniegtu augstus akadēmiskos standartus un ļautu studentiem attīstīt spēju veidot karjeru Eiropā.

RARZI konsekventi realizē politiku, kas ir vērsta uz diskriminācijas nepieļaušanu un caurredzamību visās darbībās. Kaut arī RARZI ir Katoļu Baznīcas dibināta augstskola, tas neizvirza īpašas prasības studentiem un nepieļauj viņu brīvības ierobežošanu. Diskriminācija pēc rases, tautības, dzimuma vai vecuma netiek pieļauta. Mums ir studenti, kas nāk no dažādām kristīgajām konfesijām un ir ar dažādu reliģisku pieredzi.

Nediskriminācijas politika ir definēta RARZI pamatdokumentos un tiek īstenot visās darbības jomās. Studenti tiek uzņemti nepieļaujot diskrimināciju rases, tautības, vecuma vai dzimuma dēļ. Kaut arī Rīgas Augstāko reliģijas institūtu ir dibinājusi Katoļu Baznīca, pie mums studē cilvēki, kas pārstāv dažādas Kristīgās konfesijas. Ir izstrādāta un darbojas atbalsta sistēma studentiem, kam nepieciešama īpaša palīdzība.

Galvenās vērtības, kas nosaka mūsu darbības pamatu, ir atspoguļotas galvenajos RARZI dokumentos un visā mūsu darbībā. To nodrošina darbinieku un docētāju izvēle un to atbilstības vērtēšana, ko izdara Laterāna Pontifikālā universitāte. Mūsu institūta absolventi strādā par skolotājiem, pastorālajiem konsultantiem, kapelāniem slimnīcās, cietumos, citās sociālajās institūcijās. Viņiem ir svarīgi balstīt savu sadarbību ar visiem, ko viņi sastop savā darbā cieņpilnā attieksmē un kristīgajās vērtībās.

RARZI realizē pāreju uz dabai draudzīgu biroja darbu, izmantojot digitalizācijas iespējas un samazinot papīra izmantošanu. Turpinot šo politiku, laikā no 2021. līdz 2027. gadam RARZI plāno pakāpeniski pāriet uz Erasmus + mobilo aplikāciju izmantošanu un īstenot Eiropas Studentu Kartes iniciatīvu, tādējādi pievienojoties Eiropas infrastruktūrai visos tās digitalizācijas projektos. RARZI pievērš lielu uzmanību videi draudzīgas politikas nodrošināšanā, realizējot Pāvesta encikliku “Laudato Si” ( Esi slavēts. Rūpējoties par mūsu kopējām mājām) un tajā apzīmētās vērtības. Tādēļ RARZI izmantos “Erasmus bez papīra“ tīklu studentu mobilitātes datu apmaiņai, izmantojot elektroniskos dokumentus un elektronisko parakstu. Mobilitātes dalībnieki tiek aicināti izmantot videi draudzīgus ceļošanas veidus, izvēloties vilcienu vai autobusu lidmašīnas vietā , kur tas iespējams, pārvietojoties ar kājām, velosipēdu vai sabiedrisko transportu pilsētas/ valsts robežās. Visiem mobilitātes dalībniekiem tiek ieteikts ievērot saprātīgas un videi draudzīgas patērēšanas principus. RARZI iedrošina studentus, darbiniekus un docētājus aktīvi iesaistīties pilsoniskās sabiedrības aktivitātēs savā valstī un mobilitātes zemēs.

Rīgas Augstākais reliģijas zinātņu institūts iepriekšējā periodā ir nodrošinājis pilnīgu mobilitātes laikā iegūto kredītpunktu atzīšanu. To izdevās panākt, pateicoties rūpīgai mobilitātes studiju plānošanai un atbalsta pasākumiem studiju mobilitātes laikā. Nākošajā Erasmus + programmas realizācijas posmā ir paredzēts turpināt šo praksi attiecībā uz iebraucošajiem un izbraucošajiem studentiem, nodrošinot pilnu automātisku studijās ārzemēs iegūto kredītpunktu atzīšanu. RARZI izsniedz diploma pielikumus ar tajos fiksēto mobilitāti latviešu un angļu valodā bez maksas. Digitālo diploma pielikumu izsniegšanas iespējas tiks apzinātas, jo ir atkarīgas no Laterāna Pontifikālās universitātes.

RARZI atbalsta docētāju un darbinieku mobilitātes. Tā ir nozīmīga internacionalizācijas un modernizācijas stratēģijas sastāvdaļa. Docētāji un darbinieki tiek aicināti iesaistīties mobilitātes un strādāt ciešā kontaktā ar ārvalstu kolēģiem. Tādā veidā darbinieki tiek motivēti uzlabot svešvalodu zināšanas.

Erasmus politikas deklarācija tiek publicēta vienlaikus ar citiem Erasmus dokumentiem RARZI mājas lapā (https: //www.rarzi.lv) , tur tiek ievietota visa informācija par Erasmus programmas dotajām iespējām, labās pieredzes stāsti, video un foto liecības. Pozitīvo pieredzi atspoguļojam arī Katoļu masu medijos.

RARZI neprasa iebraucošajiem studentiem samaksu par konsultācijām, reģistrāciju, bibliotēkas izmantošanu. Mobilitātes ietvaros notiekošo studiju kvalitāti nodrošina ārlietu darba grupa RARZI vadībā. Izbraucošo studentu , darbinieku un docētāju mobilitātes tiek organizētas izmantojot stingri noteiktu un caurskatāmu procedūru, ņemot vērā arī svešvalodu zināšanas .

The strategy of Riga Higher Institute of Religious Sciences (RARZI) is to strengthen international contacts with similar Institutions in Europe by carrying out the mobility of students, professors, and the stuff of the Institute. There has been a successful cooperation on all levels during the previous years which gave a remarkable contribution to the exchange of ideas and academic experience for 1) the professors - by participation in the academic process of European Universities and establishing long lasting contacts; 2) the students - by gaining unique multicultural experience of studies and practice in European Institutions and after their return applying this knowledge in their field of activity in Latvia; 3) the stuff - by learning the ways of organizing better academic and human environment. Institute is committed to continue and strengthen this valuable practice.

Since RARZI is a relatively small Institute it focuses more on quality than on quantity of events and activities. Therefore the long term phased internalization strategy is of great value firstly with the Universities of the region of the Baltic countries (Estonia/Lithuania) and then all over Europe - starting with the academic contacts established by the professors of the Institute during their PHD studies in United Kingdom, Italy, France, Belgium, Poland, Slovakia, Germany. RARZI is working on modernization of technologies and methods used in the academic process and are searching the ways how to apply them in broadening the field of communication with its Erasmus cooperation partners.

We are interested to broaden international collaboration and provide our students and staff with the possibility to gain experience in the international environment. The Institute have partners in other countries and positive experience of participating in different kind of mobilities in previous years. It will be most stimulating for our students to have an opportunity to spend some time in mobility for studies in Catholic universities of other countries. They will be able to acquire the experience of studies in non-familiar environment and participate in the cultural exchange. The institute will welcome incoming students for all possible ways of mobilities for students. We are interested in broadening the experience of our teaching and non-teaching staff which will be possible by participating in staff mobilities. That includes teaching, staff training or blended mobilities. The incoming professors are most welcomed in RARZI. We are sure they will make a great contribution for the quality and variety of the study process in RARZI.

Participation in the program will help RARZI to achieve its goals in modernisation and internationalization. RARZI is interested to increase the level of cooperation with higher education establishments and other organisations in different countries. The target for participation in mobilities is to reach high academic and professional standards and make our students able and ready to build their carrier in Europe. That will be possible by inviting academic staff from Germany, Poland, Italy, Lithuania, and other countries to present their lectures and provide opportunity for our students to enjoy different approach and, perhaps different methodology of the well-known subjects.

RARZI consistently implements measures aimed observance of the principles of non-discrimination and transparency in the daily life of the Institute. These principles are included in the RARZI regulations, they are mentioned in employment contracts and study contracts. Although RARZI is an educational institution founded by the Catholic Church, it does not have special requirements for the potential students which can somehow discriminate their freedom. All students are accepted without any discrimination on the grounds of race, nationality, age or gender. There are students from different Christian denominations. So far, we had not applicants coming from different religious backgrounds, but we are open to this challenge.

The Institute has defined the core values for its operations, which are reflected in its main documents and in all the Institute's activities. This is ensured by the selection of the pedagogical and technical staff of the university, the assessment of its suitability by the authority of the Lateran Pontifical University. Graduates of our Institute become teachers, pastoral counsellors, chaplains in hospitals, prisons, and other social institutions. It is important for them to develop a respectful attitude towards everyone they encounter in the process of work. RARZI has elaborated and is implementing a support system for the students in need and those who require special help

Within the new program RARZI will work on digitalization of the documentation. In accordance with the European Student Card initiative implementation schedule we will encourage every participant and our partners to use online environment for Erasmus+ documentation.

The use of electronic documentation: interinstitutional agreements, nominations and acceptances, online learning agreements, transcripts of records and the use of electronic signature will help to reduce the use of paper in the office. Students and lecturers will be encouraged to use environmentally friendly ways of transport when traveling: trains or buses instead of airplanes - to reach the country of mobility, or go on foot, by bicycle or by public transport - inside the country or city. During the preparation of mobility, participants will be reminded to follow the principles of prudent consumption during, before and after their mobility.

Participants of the mobility programmes will be encouraged to demonstrate civic engagement and active citizenship in the country of mobility.

During previous period of participation in Erasmus+ program, RARZI has granted full recognition of all credits gained for learning outcomes during the mobility period abroad. It was achieved by successful planning of study period abroad before mobility and good support measures for students during mobility. For full automatic recognition of credits in future, RARZI will -Follow previously elaborated successful practices of planning the mobilities and support for students during the mobilities for both – incoming and outgoing – students.

RARZI is supporting staff mobility for teaching and non-teaching staff and is determined to continue this practice in the future. This policy is an important part of internationalisation and modernization strategy. Professors and other staff members will be encouraged to participate in mobilities and work in contact with colleagues from other countries.

The Erasmus Policy statement will be hosted on the web page of RARZI: https://www.rarzi.lv All activities of the program will be announced and promoted on the web page of RARZI as well as on social platforms. On our web page all information for incoming or outgoing students will be placed and regularly updated.

The principles of the Charter will be well communicated and applied by the staff at all levels of institution. This will be ensured by including the principles of non-discrimination, inclusion, equal access to opportunities in the core values of RARZI. These values are declared in Apostolic Constitution “Veritatis Gaudium” (“The Joy of Truth”– on Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties) and communicated through main documents of RARZI (Statutes).

RARZI will charge no fees to incoming mobile students for tuition, registration, examinations or access to laboratory and library facilities. That Is now and will be included in Rules of Procedure of RARZI. Deputy director will be responsible for implementing this principle. The quality of the mobility activities will be insured by the work of External affairs group in RARZI leadership, discussing all matters on regularly held meetings. RARZI will promote priorities of the programme, implementing digital mobility management, full recognition of credits, environmentally friendly practices, promoting active citizenship position of students and staff during mobility period

RARZI will ensure fair and transparent procedures for selection of mobility participants, providing all necessary information and updated course catalogue on RARZI webpage. Management team of RARZI (especially deputy director) will be responsible for preparation of outgoing mobility participants, including linguistic support and necessary documentation.
